A Literary Weekend is an opportunity for you to combine a lovely and restful weekend vacation with an amazing literary experience. In the fall of 2011, we again visit the historic city of Savannah, GA, with time to take tours and explore the city that holds so much of our history. Get to know Savannah by experiencing a city tour. This will help you get better acquainted with its "genteel" Southern beauty and give you a sample of the attractions you will want to explore on your own.

I plan the Literary Weekends so that you have an opportunity to leave everything you know, take a risk and go someplace different -- just for a weekend. When you get there, the others you meet at a Literary Weekend are just like you. We love to read, that is what we have in common at first; but as the weekend progresses, you find that this wonderful group of Sisters has so much more in common with you than you could have imagined. We are of the same spirit, we have a sense of humor, we are literate intelligent Black women who have come to Savannah to have some fun, our way.
