Message: The May 2008 Literary Sisters Retreat in San Francisco was my first. It will definitely not be my last one! It was such a thrill to be among 50 black women who love to read and are avid readers! We talked about books, we talked about movies, we talked about travel, we talked about life! BEing in the presence of 5 gifted authors, hearing them read and tell how they got to this place was so awesome! And of course Ruth added all those touches that make a trip super special - the winery tours, excellent restaurants and my favorite acoustic jazz guitarist - Earl Klugh! Thank you, Ruth!
