New Year's Eve Cruise - Southern Caribbean

December 26, 2015 - January 2, 2016

It is exciting to celebrate the arrival of a brand new year while sailing the Caribbean Sea.  This time we will travel with Celebrity Cruises, sailing from beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico on December 26.  From the beautiful beaches in Barbados, to the wonderful shopping in St. Maarten, each island has something special to offer.  Please plan to join us for a vacation that you will love!

Below you will find the sailing itinerary with the ports of call.

December 28, 2015
Bridgetown, Barbados

Barbados gained independence from the British in 1966, but their influence is still apparent on this stunning Caribbean island. English is the native tongue, Cricket is the national sport and tea is still a favorite drink. It is no wonder that this piece of paradise was once called "Little England ."

December 29, 2015
Castries, St. Lucia

St. Lucia has been a part of the British Commonwealth since 1803. But prior to that, it was often occupied by the French, which is evident in much of the island's culture. Castries offers a colorful local market and great shopping. And the surrounding areas offer lush rain forests, striking waterfalls, beautiful beaches and Sulfur Springs - the world's only drive-through volcano.

December 30, 2015
St. John's, Antigua

The first settlement on the island we now know as Antigua was not established until the 1600s, when English settlers arrived. Antigua remained a part of the British Commonwealth until its independence in 1981. Today, Antigua is a popular vacation destination, attracting tourists with its ideal climate, amazing landscape, leisurely lifestyle and 365 beautiful beaches - one for every day of the year!

December 31, 2015
Philipsburg, St. Maarten

When the Spanish closed their colonial fort on St. Maarten in 1648, a few Dutch and French soldiers hid on the island and decided to share it. Soon after, the Netherlands and France signed a formal agreement to split St. Maarten in half, as it is today. Philipsburg displays its Dutch heritage in its architecture and landscaping. The island offers endless stretches of beach, beautiful landscapes and great shopping.

January 1, 2016
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Charlotte Amalie beckons you to stroll along her cobble stone alleyways, climb her streets of steps, admire antique West Indian furnishings in historic homes and explore 17th century Danish fortifications. Founded in 1681 by Danish settlers, it contains a wealth of buildings that provide a glimpse into colonial life. It is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places as an area of particular historic interest. Often referred to as Downtown or just Town, Charlotte Amalie today is a bustling center for government, schools, offices, shopping and residences! Visit old and new Charlotte Amalie; see the evolution from a colonial trading post to one of the busiest duty free ports in the Caribbean!
